bye bye, October

pumpkin cupcakes from Julia on my birthday

haunted corn maize on Sauvie Island

Well, this is my last October blog until next year! I've got to say that it's been a pretty nice October. We were blessed with some really magnificent weather, and I acquired a couple new yoga gigs. I also enjoyed lots of pumpkin flavored things, and even celebrated my Halloween at a haunted (and incredibly muddy) corn maize on Sauvie Island. As I type this, Keith and I are watching The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is a favorite of mine. I just love the Pumpkin King!

From here, I can officially start thinking about Christmas. I'm about half way done with my shopping, and I already know what I'm getting the folks I don't have anything for yet. Easy enough! Can't wait to go home and spend the holiday with family this year. It was pretty depressing last year staying here in Portland. I always wondered why movie theaters were open on Christmas until last year, when Keith and I went to see Avatar because we didn't have anything else to do.

Going to watch the movie now. Hope y'all had a nice October! :)

xoxo-
