Remember when it was OK to drink and
drive....then Moms got MADD. Gun regulation doesn't take away our right
to bear arms just like regulating drinking while driving didn't take
away our right to drink. You need a license to drive a car and there
are rules about driving. A gun is dangerous...a car is dangerous...how
they are used should be regulated for the safety of our children.
Not only for our children, but for the American people as a whole. It bothers me to the depths of my soul when someone is vocal and obnoxious about their beloved guns, but I refuse to argue with them about it. Instead I just smile and nod, or simply say nothing at all. Not because I don't have an opinion, and not because I'm too stupid or scared to express it. As the great Dr. Martin Luther King said: “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.”
