job hunting

So I have decided to bite the bullet and look for office admin jobs to compensate my yoga income. Eventually, I will be able to live solely off the money I make teaching yoga, but right now is not the time. I'e been looking on Craigslist and I have emailed my resume to 15-20 companies I would guess. Tonight while I was looking, I found several ads that required a college education, and under compensation it said $11/hr. Really? Are you kidding me? I made that much money working in a pizza restaurant! People do not want to go to college to work behind a desk and answer phones and file papers all day, nor do they want to work for $11 an hour. And if they do, they need to take themselves back to college and take a course in common sense. And that's all I have to say about that.

On the other hand, I saw an ad for an executive assistant to the president at Portland State University. They required a BA, but higher education was preferred. Compensation: $90,000-$110,000/yr. That's more like it.
