The redbox is filled with crappy movies and I don't know of a video store in my area. What a bummer. I got an email from redbox telling me that I should make tonight a redbox night. I thought that didn't sound like a bad idea, so I went online to pick one out and there was nothing. I've already seen all the good ones in there. Crazy Heart, Up in the Air, An Education, Shutter Island, It's Complicated. That's about it. What am I supposed to do now? I am open to suggestions.
Yesterday was nice. I took a yoga class. Donated lots to Goodwill. Shopped a little with Julia, then went to happy hour and a movie at the Bagdad. We saw Eclipse. I was disappointed, but maybe that's because I haven't read the book? I remember starting that book, reading less than half of it and getting bored. I felt the same about the movie, but it was still fun. J and I had been waiting to see it since it came out over two months ago but we didn't want to pay $10!
This morning I taught a yoga class. I've decided to start getting there early(er) so that I can warm up/wake up on the elliptical for 10-15 minutes before class. I woke up at 4:55 am. Yowsa.
Keith is watching Borat. I remember Cindy always hated this movie because she thought it made fun of Kazakhstan and she had close friends from there. She was fiercely loyal to those she loved and would get so mad at Stormy and me for laughing at the movie! I still miss her so much.
I'm teaching yoga again at 5:30. I've got a new playlist and I can't wait to share it! I'll post it on my yogaseedpdx blog after class. Don't want to spoil the surprise...
I've got to go to Trader Joe's to pick up some things. I'm going to make curried tempeh tomorrow. On Monday, I went to the Farmer's Market and bought a bunch of veggies and made a quinoa salad with them and have been eating it ever since. I like to make large batches of healthy food and have it for several days in a row. I never tire of eating the same things. I ate fettucine alfredo lean cuisines (yuck) every single day for two or three years straight. Same thing with wheat thins. And refried beans. I still eat those, but not every day.
I'm dying to take a road trip to Salt Lake City. This weekend would be perfect. If I can talk Keith into it, we'll go. We could leave tonight even. There's my spontaneous spirit talking, he will never agree to it.
Have a great day, friends. I'll blog more soon.
xoxo-
