continued...

I'm back to share my travel plans!
  • Trip to Virginia for Tonya & Matt's wedding reception
  • Possible visit from Ben & Dana with lots of traveling involved. (Ashland, Crater Lake, Oregon Coast, San Francisco?, Seattle?, Hood River, Vancouver BC?)
  • Crater Lake camping trip round two with John & Julia
  • Visit from my mother and father
  • Visit from Scott & Becky (Keith's sister and brother in-law)
  • Visit from Denise (Keith's mom)
  • Maybe another trip to Timberline Lodge for Keith's 31st birthday
Eek! So exciting. Of course, all of this is completely up in the air, as it is only January 2. But still so very exciting. I am bouncing off the walls just at the thought of visiting San Francisco or Vancouver BC. And wouldn't it be fun if Keith and I could go back to Vegas for our first wedding anniversary? It's unlikely, but still a happy thought.

Yoga was really fun this morning. I didn't really feel like going. I have to blow my nose a lot and I don't have much of a voice, but I thought it might help me feel better if I went back to class. When my forehead came into contact with the mat during child's pose I thought I was going to have to leave, but I pushed through and am so glad that I did. Tonight I will go back for anusara yoga at 5:30. The class is 75 minutes, the first third is chanting, second third is anusara-based asana and the last part is restorative. Mmmm! This will be only the second time I've gotten to take this class because we've been snowboarding every Sunday. I am really looking forward to it.

I tend not to make New Years resolutions because I think they're stupid. Not for you, but for me. My mentality is, why put off what you can do right now? Not about everything (laundry, cleaning, things like that do not apply to this rule), but about things that will better myself, such as more yoga, more vegetables, more time at the gym, etc. Do you ever hear those people who say, "I'm going to start my diet on Monday" as they steadily shove cookies in their mouths? It doesn't have to be cookies, but you get what I'm saying. When it comes to things like that, along with quitting smoking, I say just do it now. There is no time like the present. So if I were to make a resolution, I'd make it something pretty unimportant. Like I might say I'll try to blog more or something. Resolution made! I will try to blog more.

Have a blessed day, friends!

xoxo-
