I have got to say how disappointed I am in this coffee I got from Trader Joe's the other day. I thought it would be good because it's Ultra Dark French Roast and I ground the beans in the store, but I think it tastes pretty watery! It's just not very full bodied. I can't like it! And I have a whole can of this crap to drink. At least Keith will be home soon to help me, but really I'm the one who drinks it all anyway!
I went to Julia's last night for Twilight. Turns out, we couldn't stop talking long enough to watch it and we ended up only watching 7 minutes in 3 hours! Oh well. The conversation was better than the movie would have been anyway!
So there's this pair of jeans I'd been wanting from Banana Republic for a few months. They were $90, and I didn't want to spend that much, even with my amazing discount. So last night I decided that I had a few extra bucks in my bank account and I really wanted the jeans. When I went in, all the jeans were on the sale rack for $19.99, and I was able to get the exact pair I had originally wanted, plus one more, both for $35 after my discount. What a success! Even though I had a crappy day at work, I have to say that my night was pretty awesome!
I can not even begin to express my disappointment in this coffee. Just horrible. Tastes like something you'd get at a gas station or something! Well, it's not quite that bad, but close. It tastes kinda like the coffee at Biscuits, which I am not a fan of. Too watery.
I'd like to share this lovely gem with you. A friend said this earlier in the week about, not to, but about her boyfriend. "Why don't you want to go jogging and stop eating cinnamon buns for breakfast so you can be sexier?!" I laughed. A lot. Also, while Stefi was talking about her brother in-law's brother crashing on their couch for the summer and needing to grow some balls to deal with his ex-girlfriend, something came up about him having "the penis, the power and the paycheck", but no balls. She said it way better than I ever could. I wish I had written the whole thing down. Julia also said something last night that I can't recall, andI wish I had written that down as well. Time to start carrying a notebook around I guess!

so the key to make the coffee drinkable is to just add more grounds to the same amount of water until you find it strong enough.
ReplyDeleteIt has a strong enough taste, but the consistency is watery. Not okay in my world. Not at all.
