there is still good in the world

So as you know, if you read this blog, I lost my license a couple weeks ago. I contacted the DMV and they mailed me another one, but today I got a piece of mail from Sara (the girl who rented my apartment from me) and it was my original license! She said it came in the mail from a hotel in Portland, so someone found it and mailed it back, and luckily Sara and I were friendly and I gave her my contact information before I left! And today is her 21st birthday, so happy birthday Sara!

Keith and I went to Target tonight and now we are about to go to the gym. Good times! I also did ALL of our laundry, and that's the first time it's all been done since I moved here! I almost had to beat some guy up over a dryer though. We have three washers and three dryers in the basement, and they were all full today, so I took my book down there and waited for the dryers to open up for thirty minutes, when all of a sudden this dbag walks in, waits for two minutes and then jumps up as soon as one of them goes off and starts putting his things in. I normally avoid confrontation at all costs, but I wasn't having it today. I was like, "Excuse me, but do you mind if I use that dryer?" He looked at me like I was speaking mandarin chinese. "I've been waiting here for thirty minutes and I need that dryer." He reluctantly agreed, and good for him because it would have come to blows if he had chosen to take it there. HA! How very yogic of me.

I can't believe March is almost over. Can't wait for warm weather!
xoxo,
t
